Nanowrimo meeting tomorrow
So tomorrow after church I will meet some other people doing the National Novel Writing Month challenge. I’m sure it will be an eclectic group, I even suspect that someone from my writing class will be there. It should make for an interesting afternoon.
My highest hope is that I will connect with some of these people enough to develop a group of local writers who I both like and respect. I understand the value of workshoping a piece with other writers and getting their feedback, and I have come a long way at keeping my work separate from my self. Of course there remains an attachment, but I have a lot less fear about the process.
I’m far behind on my schoolwork writing, but making a lot of progress day by day with the Snowflake outline. But the days are running out. I may just keep working on the Snowflake until its done anyway, even while I begin the novel…
We shall see….
