Knowing what works
Well, the Nanowrimo meet-up was a lot of fun. We had some young people and some older, and everyone had things to contribute. I appreciated the supportive mindset of everyone, and look forward to having their company to write in when we meet next Sunday. Viking hats shall rule the day as we were exhorted to adopt writing paraphernalia that gets us in the mood.
I’ve been writing (or Snowflaking) for about three hours a day all weekend. It’s coming together. Part of me wishes there was more time to work on it, but knowing that it’s going to be awful the first time around takes a bit of pressure off. I see this exercise of planning and writing with such intensity as being a ground zero to work up from on future projects. I’ll know much better what works for me and what does not. Valuable information, that.
I’m keeping up to date on your blog, Bonn.
It is neat to hear the progress you are making. It is neat to hear your interest and to hear about you writing with less pressure. These are both positive things.
I think it’s great that you are consistently writing—that it’s becoming part of your everyday life.
