It is finished
Well, not really. But the first draft is finished. There will be significant swapping of scenes, perhaps taken from a different Point Of View. There will be more description of the Storyworld and some minor characters will add a little depth to the whole thing. And then the micro-editing, changing words, getting rid of “had” and “was” in exchange for “active voice”. I’ll be reading the books I got on the craft of writing before tackling this, so there will probably be lots more things to change than I can even imagine now. But it’s a cool story, and I finished it. Go me!
