Well, at least I didn’t fail to plan.
Upon further consideration, I determined that the reason I felt so good after Winning Nanowrimo was because I had accomplished something significant to build my writing career.
I also determined that taking the next step on the path to publication would do me more good than repeating the step I’ve already taken once. It’s a step I will need to repeat in future, but my goal at the completion of Nano this year is… to submit to an editor the novel I wrote last year!
I came across a very interesting new service that is currently beta testing at Creative Byline.
So here’s the plan of attack:
In October read Edit Yourself Into Print and The First Five Pages
In November, spend 1 hour minimum daily in re-writes of my novel Gift Of The Ancients
On November 30, submit my re-worked novel to Creative Byline and see how that goes. They already work with Tor Books, and that’s a house I’ve wanted to publish with, so I’m excited!
Hi Babe.
Sounds like an -awesome- plan.
Something that will still demand your attention and effort but will be a step in the right direction to reach your goals.
Let me know if you want any editing ideas or need some extra hugs. I’m here to cheer you on!
